You Would Change the World

Every day seek out someone to encourage. If you have been on this Journey with the Lord only for weeks, you can still speak those things which edify. Enter into God’s economy by speaking the truth in love. In God’s economy there is NO lack.

And the Lord answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.”   -- Habakkuk 2:2

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think these things.    – Phil. 4:8

In God’s economy there is no lack. If we do as we are instructed in the verse above we will speak those things also. And then manifest verse 19 of the same chapter.

But my God shall supply ALL your need according to hid riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.  - Phil. 4:19

It has been very enlightening to read many of my favorite scriptures in the light of God’s Economy. I am more encouraged every day as I clarify for myself and others that God’s economy is never in recession. For His currency is the Word of God and we are given authority to speak the word in love. We must turn our hearts to Him and submit to His design for our lives and then we will be free indeed. Let us be moved with compassion toward all we meet today and let them know about God’s Word the universal currency of the Most High God! (For the word study on God’s Economy see “Make It Your Own” in the May/June 93 issue.)

Psalm 32

We are human and we sin. In the depths of our soul we struggle with our two natures. Do not fear the struggle. Praise God! He delivers us as we seek Him.

Psalm 32

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer.

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with mine eye.

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
