A Vital Link In Your Health Stewardship Program

The best exercise is the most natural. By that I mean exercise that can be enjoyed by anyone at any age. I recommend walking, bicycling or swimming because they require little investment to get started. I also enjoy scuba diving, tae chi and rock climbing but these are not for everyone.

In days gone by everyone exercised just to get to work (walked) and then exercised as they did their work (lifting, carrying, digging, washing, planting, etc.).Anyway, you get my point. Now that mankind has created "modern conveniences" we need to pay to have a place to work(out). How ironic!

I often say, "Exercise covers a multitude of sins." Exercise provides much insurance against disease by increasing the circulation and respiration. The increased blood flow removes toxic waste matter from the tissues and the deeper breathing uses the lungs more fully and delivers oxygen to tissues that may be stagnant. In addition, the increased activity of the lungs is very important in detoxifying the body of waste. You actually exhale waste products!
